ProtectedSeas required a creative firm to support the brand development and website redesign for the launch of their global marine protected areas mapping tool. MAR Communications worked closely with the ProtectedSeas team to guide the development of a new brand identity that fit with the goals of the project that would be easily identifiable by the target audience. The name Navigator was chosen, since it is an instrument that assists in directing the course of a vessel and maps help us navigator the world. Navigator can be used to better understand the level of current marine protections and a guide to direct the course of new ocean protections.
The MAR Communications team also lead the redesign of the ProtectedSeas Navigator website, which includes information on over 21,000 marine areas.
